Mr Cake

Mr Cake is a Stockholm-based café and patisserie founded by Roy Fares. For their 2025 advent calendar, the brand created a playful 3D world built from simple geometric shapes. To give the animation the same tactile, handcrafted feel, I built physical paper models to preserve subtle folds, textures, and imperfections that can be hard to fake digitally. The paper models were all digitized via photogrammetry and optimized for animation in Blender.
